The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Wazzup disc golfers...This is ~Z~ from Strange Disc Sports, Inc. asking you to share where you're from and what your thoughts are on having The Strange Disc Tour come to your town and throw bad-azz tournaments. We'd also like to know which courses you would like to see us "strange-up", meaning we accessorize the courses where we host tournaments to make them a little more, well, World-Class is the word I'm lookin' for...We'd like to hear what kind of merchandise you'd like to see come through your town and also we'd like to hear of local music talent that may perform for us all at Strange Disc Tour Player's Parties...

You need to come up to ann arbor michigan. Sweet courses and great people.
The closest I've been to Ann Arbor is Kazoo when Worlds was there in '08...Who would I talk with in the Ann Arbor area about bringin' the Tour through?...~Z~
Im from medina, ohio and i think it would be sweet if you guys swung through Roscoe Ewing park. Its a pretty nice course but not too much happens there tournament wise.
Thanks for the reply Wraith...Is this where Roscoe's Revenge was this year? Do you have contact info for the personnel who manages Roscoe Ewing Park? Holla Back ~Z~ www.StrangeDiscSports.net

Love to have you down south! Fort Walton Beach Florida!!! Sport is blowing up in my area. I just opened a disc golf and bike store, 3 blocks from local course. Come check us out! We have The Hogs Breath Salon, always great music!!!
Disc up,
Saint Louis does have a very fine selection of courses on which to hold a event of copious amounts of fun & a number of indvidual disc golf clubs for all regions. Of course there is the STL club, also known as the River City Flyers, but you also have the JC sharpshooters, Southern Illinions Chain Gang, The Cuvy League, SLIK disc, and the always popular and fun TRAVELING LAKER LEAGUE. The LAKERS travel to all parks in the greater St. Louis region, close to 18 and play year round on Sundays, spring thru fall on Wednesdays. The LAKERS have put up temp. courses in Saint Charles and in Forest Park in Saint Louis as well as having put on non-sanctioned tournaments. We are under taking a new project now, 9 person team golf, match play. 8 men & 1 woman on each team. The first event is Sept. 26/27 in the Quad cities, Iowa with 4 teams from 3 states. If this is a success then we will work on making this a larger charity event with the porceeds going for a college grant. We bill this as the Traveling Outlaw Tournament because it is another non-sactioned event. If you are up to it check out the site: www.webstarts.com/travelingoutlawleague
Fly long & prosper!
Im sure coming to Kalamazoo would be very fun and eventful. We have music every night downtown at multiple locations. And as far as disc golf you couldn't ask for better courses with a new 27 hole layout at Fort Custer, Robert Morris park, Oshtemo Township park, Coldbrook park (a local favorite), and Three Rivers just 30 min south has 2 high caliber 18 hole courses at Meyer Broadway park. Everybody loves disc golf up here and attendance would be very high to a sanctioned event anywhere near here.
I second it needs to come to Michigan...I live in Jackson so either K-zoo or A2 would work for me....
