On line registration closes this Friday for the Moccasin Lake Open. If you are planning on playing in this event either sign up on line or see Curtis or Scott at the course. Only ten day till the event so let's get those registrations in.

Be on the lookout for.... some discs that were heisted right out the Back of Doug and Shanna Smith's truck just after play resumed from the second weather delay during the final round of the Daytona Open.

Doug's name is in them...one belonged to Shanna, her name is in that one...a 10X Roc.

Coachman is a flood plane. the mater management department has used coachman as a flood plane run off for many years. the main problem is they left the project un-finnished a few years back. they started on hole 7 and never finnished the project. then they did the work on hole 15. they must have taken the lowest bid on that one because the water will never drain through it. its too high above run off level. i think when the coachman family donated the land it was under the agreement it would not be developed. no bathrooms, concrete or structures. tbdsc and club members are working hard this week to ready the course for the tourney. if mother nature would just cooperate. This month I watched Pinellas Park survey Youth Parks course and dig a small ditch 3 quarters through part of the course with small walkways over the ditches. Now the day after big rains there is no water at all on the course. Pinellas Park doesn't have a PDGA Tournament in their city, but Clearwater does and it seems Clearwater could survey the land and create a solution like Pinellas Park. That's if there is even a possible fix for NE Coachman, I don't know?
