A3 Disc (Ann Arbor Area Disc Indueced Sports Club) typically does that once or twice a league season, winners get club discs. Prize for heaviest, fullest bags and most cigarette butts.

Why not give recognition or an improved bag tag or $$$$ to the group that brings in the most recylable items/ trash from a round???

i think the best is when your out somewhere and there is a recylcing bin RIGHT NEXT to a trash and low and behold there is allways cans and other stuff right atop the trash... it really doesn't get much lazier than that.

I'll pick up whatever I find atop of disc baskets, and throughout the fairways when I play. It so simple just to invest in a nalgene or Sigg aluminum bottle so you're not creating trash. I don't see why everyone doesn't do it.

On Thursday I played a round a picked another grocery bags worth of trash. Imagine what our courses would look like if everyone did that!

Me and my good friend Wade hate it when we see trash. The other day when we were disc golfing, we saw a trash can that was knocked over (probably by a bum) and we picked up all the trash (about 3/4 of the barrel). It felt really awesome, even though it was nasty.

I wish my area made it easy to recycle we try anyway.

I played a round on Saturday at a well kept course and I was able to gather up enough recyclable items to fill a plastic grocery bag. beer bottles, cans, energy drinks, all stuff that is easy to carry back to your car or to a trash can. What's wrong with some people? I hate to see their house!
