Just to clarify...anyone can join Team Super G if they adhere to these guidelines...

No Haters
No Cheating

what no cheating means is...

If you don`t stand BEHIND your mini, you are violating pretty much the only rule in disc golf that really matters the most - "Play from your lie" - not to the side of your lie and not in front of it. If you don`t know what a perpendicular line is, go back to middle school. If you are not completely behind your lie, you are cheating, and your score is incorrect and you can`t compare it to everyone else`s.

It also means:

Be courteous to the other players
Always putt out when competing
Don`t step on or kick your mini
Don`t choke non-smokers out with your cigarette smoke(some of us come out here for "fresh" air)
Putt-Jumps are legal. Jump-putts are not! Flying leap-putts are certainly not legal!
If a player asks you to shut up or get out of the field of view while they putt, you must comply, not argue with them and give them a hard time. Where do people learn this behavior, the ghetto?

If you make a mistake, that`s all fine and dandy. Everyone does.

If you are continually subverting the rules, go find another sport where that`s acceptable, because they have referees to keep everybody honest.

And if you ALWAYS ignore other people`s transgressions, then you`re almost as guilty as they are, and your perpetuating that behavior.

Take time out here and go get a dictionary if you need to.

If you disagree with this, then, by all means, tell us why.

That`s all we ask of our club members here - be honest - don`t hate fellow discgolfers.

And if you want to show your Monkey Ball, please don`t do so in public!

If we`re all here for the same thing - love of the sport - then why do we have to waste our efforts tearing each other down and working against each other`s efforts.

Haters - GO PLAY Hockey! If you don`t have something positive to contribute, then don`t poison the atmosphere with a bad attitude. This is Disc GOlf not FOOTBALL!

If you agree with me, let me know.

If you agree with monkey ball here...then by all means...say it here...and put your name on it.

If I`m wrong I`d like to know.

If you buy your discs at Walgreens...then it`s all about the money for some stuffed shirt in a high-rise in Chicago.

If it`s not, then buy your discs from local mom-n-pop independent disc retailer and keep your money in the sport and in your area.

Your comment has been entered, but this discussion is about giving discs to poor kids in Africa, not about monkey ball and making money, and not for spam.

You must donate to be eligible for the tournament.

I did not delete your comment, the site administrator did, but I would appreciate it if we could keep this discussion tied to the subject at hand.

IT`S ABOUT GIVING GOLF DISCS TO POOR AFRICAN CHILDREN, not spamming someone else`s efforts.

I`m sure the things you do ARE appreciated by the people you do them for, but here, it is not about the money, its about quality disc golf and supporting the sport.

No Haters. No Spam. Nothing Underhanded. And NO CHEATING!

If you don`t like our efforts to promote, then, please, please, PLEAZ do something POSITIVE for the sport yourself and put my efforts to shame.

If it was about the money, nobody, not one of us, would be in the disc golf business. There are 1000`s of ways to make a lot more money than this.

Working 80-90 hours a week for little or no pay - its hard to say its all about the money. I don`t see anyone else donating this amount of their lives to the effort. Let me see you sell your house, just to keep your business a float during a downturn. It`s hard to sacrifice more than that. I`d like to see other people stop playing disc golf for several years in order to get the disc business off the ground. Any time you`d like to debate any of this, I`ll be more than happy. I`m not blaming you - you don`t know what you don`t know - so its not really your fault.

And since the previous comment is inflamatory, not spam, the administrator will leave it up for all to see as an example of how not to treat your fellow disc golfers.

Have a Merry Christmas anyway!

by the way...it`s you`re....not your.

Sort of hard to understand when the English is incorrect.
