you guys apparently love them, i can't stand mine, wanna trade, only thrown in a field about 20 times, no visible marks, but does have my name and pdga number to cross through. looking for Star Orc, Beast; Champion Viking, or Star, CE, Champion Starfire or Eagle.

I love my groove ,it's a very overstable and predictable, I use it for helix turns through tree's I can depend on it to come back even if i put stupid ani on it

I use this disc primarily for overhand throws. If I throw it sidearm for drives I just turn it over into the ground. When I throw it back hand it seems wayyyyy to overstable, maybe I just have a defunct one.

I added 50 ft to my sidearm distance just by switching to a Groove. It comes off fast and straight with just the right amount of fade at the end. I'll have one in my bag for a long time to come.

If you are having trouble getting the "correct" flight path on the Groove, put a SLIGHT Anny on the release angle and you will be fine. The original description said "good downhill tailwind driver." They have since changed their description on the Innova site. You just have to know how to throw it and when to throw it. It is not a windy driver, and with it being Champion plastic and domey, if you throw it slightly wrong it will dive bomb left really fast for a righty.

I'll gladly trade you a couple of good flashes for your groove then Bryan...;)
Bryan Hinds Comment by Bryan Hinds on March 6, 2009 at 6:19pm
I have been throwing my grooves for a week now since my last post. No matter how hard or smooth or level I throw this disc, It's simply little more than a flash or a surge. I cannot come within 25 ft on any field shots of my Boss. I think the Boss and XCal are far superior in distance and flight.

I threw one for the first time the other day. I'm impressed with how fast it comes out of your hand with little effort. I need to make room in the bag for this disc it's awesome.
