The Groove is a Monarch on steroids. Fast doesn't even begin to describe mine. And yes, it does come back almost every time.

I'm just throwing the monarch...... I hope the groove is a little more overstable..i would guess??

I will be GROOVING for a long long time!!!!!! I have, well too many of them, and love the eco stars the best..sling that drive out with a little anny and watch it go fast and glide and turn on back for a long accurate drive!! Still like my boss, but I think its leaving my bag...Groove, destroyer, wraith , and surge,,,are my favs...

Jason: It sounds like you may be short-arming it. Or in other words you may not be getting a smooth follow through by pulling your arm and shoulders all the way through the release. Check out Dan Beato's Driving technique on You Tube. BTW you mean that it is acting overstable, not understable. Good luck! and let me know if this helps.

am i missing something? i love the groove idea. good boss like driver for a beginner so to speak. prob is when i throw it it acts like a monster. way understable. flies in a hyzer everytime. im sure its in my throw but any thoughts.

I bought a eco star groove, but i got a black one. I dont know what to think about black drivers, but as long as im in a field I should be able to find it. The champion ones are great for a dependable flick shot.

BTW the cheapest place to get one is discgolfcenter.com
$12.99 and free shipping.

yea. great disc. goes really straight for me. won't replace my boss for headwind drives, and honestly doesn't seem quite as fast. but it has a place in my bag for downhill and tailwind drives for distance. i have two eco stars and two first runs. maybe after throwing them more i will like them more. definitely worth the money though. no regrets.

I have 3 FR's ready to be tested. I have a red 169, green 174, and a yellow 170. The yellow 170 is the flattest top, followed by the green, the red has the most dome, so I will see how different they fly and post back.

It seems they had some plastic flow issues with having that big groove on the mold. On each one of my discs, in the rim on each side by the raised lettering (patent, and the opposite side by the Innova Champion), you can see cold flow lines. This is where the plastic fronts meet when the plastic is being injected into the mold. Not that big of a deal, just an observation.
