The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Formed to overthrow DICTATOR Snapper! We really need to unite and put our heads and pockets together in order to build our own course and have things the right way, done the way it should be, not the way one man says, but the way we vote it to be.

Time to hit google maps guys and find some SDG&E corridors for golf baby!

Good news I think....baskets and pads (even if they have to be dirt) could not be construed as being structures. This would be a passive recreational park...I think we have something. Thank you very much Ruther

From the SDG&E website: http://www.sdge.com/builderservices/constructionGuide.shtml

Ways to incorporate land uses with SDG&E facilities
Utility corridors are considered major land features. They cannot be hidden or relocated easily. Instead, developers are seeking ways to utilize and integrate utility corridors in the planning designs. Conceptual uses of easement corridors and official approvals should be discussed with SDG&E’s Real Estate & Facilities Department. Examples of acceptable secondary uses are as follows:

Open space/wildlife corridors.

Passive recreational parks.

Parking for commercial, retail and office needs.

Utility, industrial and manufacturing service yards.

Bike, walking and hiking trails.
Note: No structures of any type are allowed within easement corridors without written permission. Permission, if granted, is revocable.
