The UNION

Formed to overthrow DICTATOR Snapper! We really need to unite and put our heads and pockets together in order to build our own course and have things the right way, done the way it should be, not the way one man says, but the way we vote it to be.

I sent an email to Cindy Taylor the land service manager for sdge requesting a list of properties available for what they call "incorporated land use" for recreation i.e: bike trails, parks, and hopefully disc golf courses. I just sent it today ,and I will keep the Union informed of any progress.

Way to go.

We need to protect the interest of the Union. The first thing we should do is create a charter barring politics.

Second generate a list of potential courses

Third take our baskets to the potential area and play safari round to test for playability.

A new source for areas may be where SDGE has right of ways. I have seen several other courses play under powerlines (where people tend not to build houses).

How hard can it really be? If we put all our resources together, put together a little fund for a new course, why can't we build and manage our own course....? Every body should have stock, we'll run it like a business, with everyone getting a little piece of the pie! Everytime you win, put a little bit of your earnings into the fund, and the fund would be trackable by all members, so we stay honest and dedicated to the cause, no milking the system. We need honesty and integrity.
