Maybe it's just me, but the current batch of X Putt'rs seems a little bit more rigid and not as soft as from about a year ago. I have 4 that are very soft, but not floppy, feel kinda like the Soft Banger GT's. three new ones I got so I could practice are as I mentioned above. I am on a quest to find the softer ones. It's not that the new discs are bad, but when you get accustomed to the feel fo a putter, just a slight difference can give you something extra to notice.

I did notice that my first Putt'r is a darker dull yellow where as two of the new ones are a bright yellow. Could the shade of the color really have that much to do with a discs touch and flexibility? I have a white Pro D drone, that is very grippy, where a Pro D Zone in orange feels slick, and a almost pumpkin pro D Buzzz feels between the two.

Hej. I noticed the same thing. First it annoyed me a little since the new ones seem slightly more stable than the first ones. But since it slightly more stable I have good use for it on my long puts or when its a little more wind than usual. About the shade: I have the opposite situation, my new disc is a little darker than my older discs. I have no idea how this influences on the qualities of the disc.
I use a Z Putt'r for longer putts and short approaches. It really just depends on the immediate area under the basket. I use the durability factor of the Z plastic to take those shots in less than desirable conditions. I guess if there is one place to be a disc snob it would be on your putter. I've taken out of practice rotation two of the softer Putt'rs. One is in my main bag, and the other sits waiting for it's turn.
