We're excited. We get the keys to the building tomorrow. But the complex needs to take it back over July 1-5, so although we will do some stuff in there before then, we won't be storing discs and merch there until after the Fourth of July weekend.

We may put in a fridge and take some stock over in a car and hang out on the weekend to begin some sales. No promises yet. God, is it complicated creating an inventory spreadsheet with every model in every plastic from every manufacturer!

Nah, next month is cool. It means that they will be opening up just in time for my birthday tradition of wings, beer & discs. A shame that I now have to drive from Bdubs in Ypsi to the shop (only after a beer, I don't get trashed) instead of walking over but at least I get to keep the tradition going.

Terry I signed-up for that wish list, but I am sad that you are not going to open until next month as I would have loved to send family there to aquire some goods next week for my B-day

Believe that Latitude is distributed by an American Co.
Discovering the World, Gotta Go, & Marshall St.
Take your pick.

We've been in touch with Millennium discs and anticipate a full selection of their products, very soon. Since Discraft is close by, we'll be able to stock its products quickly. Innova is very structured in their approach to vendors, but they are being very helpful. DGA is also being very helpful.

If anyone has any suggestions about how to get in touch with Latitude 64, we'd appreciate that info.

We met this afternoon with the property manager at Lakeshore, who was very positive and helpful. As we went through the gate, the two staffers there said that they were getting lots of excited queries about when we would open up!

A2 is not the scariest place in Michigan, why freak out, how many of you have gone to the detroit casinos and not been shot, been to the Flint strip clubs (not me but i am sure a few have been there) this is a disc golf store if anything it will improve the area. Lots of foot traffic has a way of shaking up the neighborhood, dealers don't like a flood of none customers, gangs dont like a flood of on lookers so this will be a good thing.

Funny, Disc Player Sports: We are inside the gated community *across* the street from where the guy got shot !

I will check out your stuff. Ben and I just spent 3 hours looking over our Discraft order, as well as a peek at Gateway. We're at about $5k for the first Discraft order. It's scary spending that much money. Got to wait for a few days to get the info in from Innova.

After reading Mark Ellis' comment on your store:
Will it be safe to leave your car parked outside, and actually walk inside while dodging drive by shootings?
