The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

When I started playing DG tournaments years ago, as I woman I was inundated with plastic that was useless to me. Things have definately gotten better as TD's are now making an effort to carry lighter weight discs (much appreciated), but I personally like picking my own plastic.

Anyway, I always liked getting apparel better because even though the shirts I got never fit me, I gave them to my husband to wear, where the plastic I won sat in a bin in my backyard getting warped. Then when I became a TD I was curious about how other players felt and I created threads on many different message boards asking.

The results showed that over half of the players prefered things such as shirts and towels over plastic.

So the moral of the story is that well over a year after posting those threads out of curiosity as a TD, I got a new job... Apparel Sales ; ) Seriously though, one had NOTHING to do with the other.
I just want to let all you TD's know I can get you great deals on apparel and I hope that if you are considering doing shirts or towels you come to me for pricing.

We are currently running a sale on T-Shirts and Polo's.....

do you have any specials going on right now?

Yes, here is the Flyer. Hope to hear from you...

Thanks Mark and I got your new order :)

Sale ends Friday. This is a great opportunity to run a fundraiser for your club!
Being that I own a retail store (brick - and - mortar) specializing in disc golf I have offered the tournament directors a service to 'facilitate' the local events with amateur prize packages. I simply give each winner the house credit equal to the prize amounts, and get reimbursed by the tournament director for the payout minus a sponsorship stipend that is given back to the TD to do with as they wish. It works really well, especially since the Minnesota Frisbee Association holds over twenty sanctioned events per year. This allows the winner to pick out what they want, not what the T/D guessed the winners would take.
