Night golf tonight!!!!! Most every pin has been moved short. If you have never done this, then dress warm and come on out. We will have lights available for you. you will only need a couple. Wayne Forest will have them for about $6 for 2 of them and they will last for months if you take care of them. We will also have all of the baskets glowing to make it a little easier on you.

Now that all the tee pads are in we have moved our efforts to combat the angry beaver

I couldn't figure out why the water was SO high at hole one but down at hole 9. So Penny and I took a walk down the creek and low and behold and nice new beaver dam. Its back behind the house by the parking lot. Penny and I tore out about 3ft of it and the water came way down. I checked on it the next morning and the lil basterd built it back. I know you've all watched the discovery channel about the little construction king but until you try and dismantle what he has done, you have no true appreciation for his work.

He used sticks, logs, rocks as big as a disc, water grass and mud, lots and lots of mud. Even standing in the creek with a shovel and a rake, you have to pull it apart by hand. The rocks keep you from getting through it with the shovel. My shoulders and arms hurt so bad from battling with that hairball I don't know if I'll be able to throw in Stilllwater.

If anyone has any night vision equipment and a .22 with a silencer, let me know.

The tee pads are finished, with the exception of the CIty coming through with their tractor and cleaning up a little left over dirt.

Thank you to All that helped make this possible!!!!

Okay, I need to ask for some help...............

We ran over on the cost of constructing the tee pads. This has resulted in volunteers needing to grade the tee pads. The dirt has been placed by each pad and it is exceptional dirt, soft and easy to move around. Anyhow we will need rakes and shovels. Each pad will need the dirt raked around them 18 inces out and 1 inch below the pad itself. Any dirt left over will be moved to hole one area with a tractor. Once this is done, We will have two pallets of sod delivered so that each pad can be sodded to prevent erosion.

I only ask this becuase we ran over about $500 and the city doesn't have it in the budget to cover it. So I am covering it but I need your help. This has been a great gift given to us and all we need to do to finish it with a little work. If we can get 4 guys it won't take long and once we put down the sod, they will look great and I'm sure our very generous anonymous donor will be very happy with the results. This person has invested over $7K towards this project so all I'm asking for is a little work. Not that much when you consider how much was donated.

Dave Pennekamp will be out there tomorrow by about 8-30am. Anyone that can help, even if just for an hour, I will be forever greatfull. We will take any help we can get. If we can get 4 guys at once we can knock it out in just a couple of hours.

If you can help, call me at 232-8562 and I will coordinate it wth Pennekamp.

Thanks
