New course in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let everyone know there is a new course in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

It is located in Broadway Park, south side of Broadway Street, about 2 blocks east of the RR tracks.

It is a 9 hole course, DGA Mach V baskets, with tee signs and dirt tees. It is a relatively short course and is not real technical, but it is the only course in the vicinity.

So we go back to object golf on the un-basketed pin positions? Cool idea wish I had thought of it and a pole sticking up might help keep the collar from getting mower hits too.
Martin, Dave is considering putting in short 3 foot tall poles at the unused collar locations for just that reason you mentioned…to protect the unused collars from mower blades. We all just need to convince him to go with taller poles. Possibly with a tab welded on so that the tone poles can be locked down…and possible with these added additions (see pic below).

Herman Hills DGC in Wichita has tone poles at all of the unused collar locations. I thought that was a great addition to the course so that all DGers (from pros to newbies) can play whatever pin position that want.

C'mon Dave!
Dave and I have discussed this. He has already been in contact with the correct people to make this happen. I doubt they will have the tone chambers, but that is just my opinion.
hey you think you could send me those pics so i can post them on dgcr all i have up there now is the origional 9 holes and since they are all switched up now i dont really want to confuse anyone with old pics. my email is azabsky@gmail.com i really appreciate it !!!
I think photobucket does not allow direct linking...I tried to upload the entrance sign to DGcoursereview (via direct link) and it did not take. Also, you can't right click and copy from photobucket.

C'mon Gary...email those pics so Notrpmp can update the course profile pics at DGcoursereview.

Notrpmp, I have updated the hole-by-hole information for water in play. Dave will review at some point to make sure I got it right. I put in the water-in-play info as if an advanced player was to play the hole, as we both know, nearly every hole out there has the potential of having water come into play for a newbie... ...shank, shank, shank,...shank, shank, shank...shank your booty... :)
he has them posted...i have my photobucket set to prevent copying as i have found them on websites without permission or credit. direct linking is possible, but maybe not on dgcr...
Looking forward to playing this new course...thanks to everyone who put in the hard work.
Guess I have to call in sick on mondays now to play in the minis.

Might be easier to try and get on first shift.

Still wish I could play.

Well it appears that Centennial help up against the 20 players that were there last night. THANKS to all that braved Hwy 169 and the commuter traffic to get there. It was a great evening for disc. Plently of shade on most holes and a light 5 mph wind. Every player had 2 mulligans and the course record still stands at -10. The $20 bounty I put up goes back in my pocket until next time. No aces last night but I did see Hinds hit the bucket on hole 5. Had no complaints last night except for a few snakes in the creek. Actually more than a few but all were harmless, does make you putt a little quicker if you're standing down there though.

Just a note, we did start on time, last night the last card went to their hole at 6:29 and all cards were done by 8:35.
