i have been unemployed for 13 months going on 14 months when the swine flu thing hit like crazy. I got it from a girl at work who came to work  saying "Oh I have the swine flu i got it from my mom." I was like WTF are you doing here tryin to give it to us. sure enough I got it. Then I got fired.

I was unemployed for 5 months, but now I've been working for a year at the same job. The hours are from 5 am to 1:30pm, part time. Huge pay cut from my last job. The early hours are taking it's toll on my health and marriage so I continue to look! Good luck to all of us!

god i'm glad this is a group. i've been on unemployment for about 4 months. it's driving me nuts! once this freezing ohio weather clears up i'll be a little better.

I think it'll be awhile before we make six figures in disc golf. I got fired after winning a tournament about a month back. I have been looking for a job but no dice as of late. I didn't get fired for winning the tourney, it was just bad timing :P

It's nice to be working, but the hours are not steady. One week I get 40, the next, it's 16. It's hard to pay the bills with hours like that. My wife is now getting paid from the animal shelter she was a volunteer for. It's 16 hours a week, but it's better than nothing.

Good to hear it Jack! It does feel good to get back to work. I was out for almost 5 months!
