First driver I ever purchased was a used white DX Valkyrie 172g. She is resting peacefully in the lake at Lakes Edge DG Course in Reidsville, NC (R.I.P.)
Missed this disc more than I want to admit so I bought a new version just like the lake ghost.
While I use CE and Star Valkyrie mostly now, I still have that sentimental DX Valk as a backup.

I lost my yellow champ Valkyrie on hole 17 @ the Kenai course. Turned the shot over pretty bad and it went into a baseball field. I went into it but I never found it...cry. I been missing it ever since...

Just got these in the mail today. Two Champion Valkyrie's 175g custome dyed. Deguello is an old term used during the Alamo which means "No Mercy". Kinda our motto with life. Red one for me and the blue for my throwing partner.

my first real disc was a valkyrie i found on a course. Some one had thrown her and forgot to pick her up or something. I realized later that she was waiting for me, as my first ACE came off of the disc, and no that wasn't my only driver. I actually lost her in a river, only to have someone find her after two months in the drink and return it to me based on my info on the back. Love the Valkyrie line, works as a great up shot, and would recommend it to anyone starting out in disc, or anyone looking to add a good driver to their bag

This is my love affair with the valkyrie. It was my first disc that my friends oick out for me for my first game. It was a pro 172g. Loved it! After awhile I was scared to throw it and lose it, so I got a dx 175. I was looking through the used bin at my local course's pro shop and found a special edition one. Lost it the next day in the water. Now I have a star Christian Sandstrom 172g. Just got it today! Can't wait to use it and get a valk back into my bag.
