I got this disc in a trade off of the disc trading site, Discaroo. It's the best putter I have ever used. Last night in leagues, I hit a 120 foot putt, because I was able to put angle, spin, and fade into this disc. I have never been able to do that before.
I'm partial to a few putters, the Discraft Challenger and the Innova Rhyno and Aviar, but this by far is my favorite. I'm now working on finding some more to get as trades. One is just not enough for me.

I bought a Vibram VP medium about three weeks ago partially with the notion of supporting Vibram, but mostly to support Steve Dodge. I am very impressed with this disc.

From the start, I've never used a putter for anything other than putting. On upshots, and 100 to 250 foot shots, I've never had luck getting a putter to work. The deeper rim and rim structure has always caught on my fingers and the disc comes out with serious off axis torque. This means that I've had to use a midrange for these shots, and while that works okay for me, it can result in over shots and skip bys.

The structure of the VP eliminates this problem. I don't know the mechanics, but there is no question that the flat lid is part of the solution. This disc comes out flat and very very clean for me. Even better, Steve recommended that I try the Summit, and it has the same feel, without the fade. Just that fast, I solved one of my long term issues!

Strangely enough, for my game, I prefer the VP for putting, the bead fits my hand incredibly well and for me this disc comes out and gets into the basket a lot straighter and faster than the Aviar. I even love the rubber feel of it.

On the other hand, I use the Summit exclusively for my upshots now. I'm not as long with it as I am with my midrange, that is over 150 feet I lose my accuracy, but I have almost no skips or overshots.

Thanks Vibram!

I love em I have a proto A and 2 Bs and picked up a few at the VO this weekend the regular run VPs feel better than the protos nice and tacky. Great windy putter and driver for that matter. Can't wait to get sum summits. I got the one in my players pack but not throwing it the raised lettering is a bit weird. It's a wall hanger for sure. Real nice work on Vibrams part

It is approved. Once a disc is approved, any tweeks are fine. Look at the Teerex, the mold has changed 3 times, or Gateways Apache and Warrior. Totally new discs under a new name. I think there might be a slight fee now due to the Warrior, but tweeks are permitted.

THESE ARE 100% LEGAL. Throw them and thank me or trade them to me later. I should put up pics of mine. I've got 13 VPs now. I love them

This disc feels amazing in the hand but I don't plan on throwing it. A comment was made to me today that this disc is not pdga approved though for the reason that the Vibram Logo is a second piece of plastic(rubber) that would exclude it from being PDGA approved. I've looked on the PDGA site and looked through their approved discs and it is listed but this is a prototype and possibly not the same as what is approved. Anyone know about this?
