Once upon a time,,but with age comes wisdom and knocks you smack in the middle of your forehead,One surrenders that disc to the water gods.especially in Fl.Use a golden retriever or your local disc diver(full wet suit)Water is just nasty,I'll stick to playing in the rain and getting soaked, cooled off any day.

Come play Tuscawilla Park during the 'wet season.'
Seen world champs hit a tree an kerplunk......

Only thing is, the water in Florida is dangerous to go in (no not gators) but all the microscopic creatures that can infiltrate your pores.
People develop all kinds of tools, rakes, contraptions to retrieve discs out of the water.

Well I've certainly thrown my fair share into the ponds at Emerald Isle but my stories are all boring. My buddy tossed his disc into the pond and it landed upside down and floated into the middle of the pond. It floated on the surface while we played another three holes and then a duck swam over and sunk it with a few pecks of it's beak. I almost died I was laughing so hard!

My first putt ever at Bayside in San Diego went directly into the bay. That's right... a putt!
