thanks for the review of this past event/tourney.Wondered why nothing had been posted local down our neck of swfl woods,you cleared the fog.Look forward to have time off for next dg event at the waydown suwannee.

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am happy to announce the 2010 La Vie en Rose, a women-only PDGA event and Southern Nationals qualifier that will take place February 13-14, 2010 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. As you may know, last year the inaugural event hosted 67 female disc golfers. This year our tournament field will be limited to 84 competitors and we hope to sell out.

In order to make the 2010 event even better for the women, we are reaching out to all those in the disc golf community that are interested in helping to raise the bar for our sport. howdy waydowndiscers!!!

it's been a loooong time since i've posted on here, time for an update on all things disc at the spirit of the suwannee music park!

preparations are underway already for the
2010 Juliana Korver Presents: La Vie en Rose

This event promises to be even more fun than the inaugural year. The 2010 tournament website is up:


We will be working very hard to bring the course from good to great. We are actively seeking volunteers to help with the work and support the women of disc golf. Our female competitors deserve to be treated to an outstanding event and we are counting on the men of Florida to step up and demonstrate their commitment to bettering the sport.

The Bear Creek Music Festival is coming up is less than two weeks. This festival is sweet and we'll be having a doubles tournament that Saturday morning at 10am, the winning team members will each receive two passes for the 2011 Bear Creek Music Festival. I'd like to send out huge thanks to all who competed and helped with the inaugural La Vie en Rose!

I'd like to put together a nice blog post with a lot of photos and am waiting to see pictures from Matt Peckham and anyone else who'd like to have some included. We'll also be putting together an article for the new magazine.
