Was out on Friday early afternoon, they have mowed the taller grass around 8, 9, and 14. It makes those holes much less difficult to walk through. Hopefully they will mow 16 and 17 next.

Wednesday Night Draw Doubles, Ace Pot starts at 192.00 and last week there was 17 people. Good times man.

The Weatherford Disc Golf Club has adopted the course and adjoining street as part of the Adopt a Spot fo Keep Weatherford Beautiful campaign. Please help us in continuing to keep this course one of the nicest and cleanest in all of DFW.

Speaking of money. The needed funds have been raised for the cement teeboxes and will be transferred to the Parks Dept this week. Next up is the third set of basket locations that should add another 750-1000 feet to the longs.
The new course fund currently has 10.00 in it and the ace pot is currently at 190.00. Last night there were seventeen people for doubles, thanks to everyone that came out. Also, we still have twenty bag tags left.

If you see one of the local golfers at the course, say thank you. There's a serious fund raising campaign going on right now and because of them, this course may get the cement teeboxes by the summer.
Please remember to donate if you can, every little bit helps, don't think it doesn't because we really do need your help.
