i am all about that dave... just prior engagements, will make the donation the same either way. we just always seem to have between 30-50 people show up at the house starting around 4/430 on every 4th... this year we will be having a huge 18ft waterslide for the kids and the big kids... lots of beer, multiple baskets and tons of fireworks and fun for all.... just too much going on already that day to push the wife into B-mode and dont need to add another thing to that list... gotta get everthing setup and rolling before people start showing, i know my closest friends will be helping me with this, and if the turnout this year is comparable to last year we will need to start getting stuff ready between noon and 1pm... wish i could do more...

I as well would like to have the tournment in the morning like usual but I can have my personal chef lol (old lady) make some breakfast tortilla with ham, sausage, and stuff potatoes and have those for sell to add to the course fund. I am all for the 20$ entry fee. The sooner we can get it back to 18 would be hella cool.

cool, looking twords 4pm for the fundraiser so as not to conflict with other minis, will probably run the morning mini as well as usual
I figure at 4pm, we may be able to get everyone out of there by 6:30 or so, so they have time to go see fireworks with the family

i will be more than happy to organize/help organize fundraiser/bagtag rounds on sunday mornings to help with the replacement costs. as barry mentioned we have been having awesome turnouts for our 'weekly casual'... i will be able to play the 4th if the morning is selected as the best time, we have had a celebration in the works since the beginning of the year and want to make this the best one so far. that said if i am not at the tourney on the 4th i will donate the entry fee and just pass on playing... apologies for not popping in here yesterday, i was occupied but was on the txt toy with joel and watching emails back and forth...

I've been on the phone all morning. Toby went out and pulled the sleeves and locks so as not to entice anyone else. We're in the process of getting the city to put six welds on each of the remaining baskets. If not, Rody and I will try to get that done pretty fast to keep anymore theft from happening.
I've posted notices on almost every course info board online as well. I'm also considering posting a reward for information leading to the arrest of persons responsible if someone would please make a flyer we can post at all the local courses as well. Volunteers???
In the process of trying to finalize a July 4th fundraiser for the new baskets so spread the word. Details to follow.

ok im playin relay for Adam today. Dave he suggested that a little weld on the sleeve to the pole so it can be removed. Does anyone know of someone that can do that if not Adam said he knows a guy locally that could do it.

I noticed the missing baskets yesterday morning. It looks like they drove a vehicle to them to pull the baskets off. The base for 18's short spot is bent.
Maybe put a bug in the city's ear to put a gate over by the entrance so unauthorized vehicles cannot be driven onto the course? It is a damn shame that some people don't respect others.
