how well does 12x kc pro dye?

has anyone tried it? does the color take well?

I've tried RIT on KC Pro. It does NOT work well. It will take, but only very lightly.

I tried it once but forgot to turn the gas down.....it looked like a overcooked pizza with holes in it....(I guess that happens once to everybody)

I've got 2 pro's dyed up, one was really light and faded, and the other worked great. DIdn't do anything different though????
