Be patient when doing multiple colors with multiple masks... it makes the effort worth while :)

im usin sign vinyl with apli-tape(transfer tape), rit dye on the stove. now on multi colors ,do i have to cut out a bunch of stencils on the sign vinyl and keep puttin them on as they go from color to color.i tryed doin it with two colors and i had a hell of a time tryin to line it up right with the first dye i did on my disc there must be an easier way!!! i am running threw all my vinyl quick.(glad there is a store that sells sign vinyl for cheap if u get it by the yard)

I just use simple old wal mart contact paper. I cut my designs with an x-acto knife and a lot of patience. There are a couple of ways but the soaking method, to me, is the easiest and best way.Thanks for the props on the art. I have more coming soon. As far as the saran wraps, kind of a trade secret man, cant let that one out ya know.

what kind of masking tape did u use? i am doin the rit dye method over the stove.is there more than 1 way to dye discs?i like ur sarran wrap method.those came out sick lookin.... mad props on all ur art....how do i do that sarran wrap method......

sammy, if you do the soaking type of dye job, it just takes numerous maskings and multiple soaks in the different colored dyes.

is there any1 out there that can or will give me a few pointers on how 2 put a multi-colored stencil or dye on a disc.......
