The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

hey i just recently moved over in the whiteaker area and noticed that the park on Jackson has baskets...i also saw some people ...looked like they were cleaning up the park recently as well. can someone tell me if this is a mini course or just give me the info as far as what's up.  i'm super excited to see them up and just haven't had the chance to go over and check it out yet.   thanks!

Yeah, they've been down there for awhile. I never found any tee pads, and three baskets is pretty unsatisfying, so I just make up my own course by varying the tee-off locations.
The course has been there for a long time. I use the term course loosely of course. It is officially listed as the Sladden Park Disc Golf Course. I consider it an approach and put practice course like on ball golf courses you have the practice green.
that course rocks. if you are creative you can make super stellar big holes. creativity is king.
I actually played this course before I ever played at Westy or Dexter, when I moved here. I always start at the sidewalk by the playground, but there are a lot of creative shots out there. I'm glad you found it!
