Whistlers Bend Disc Golf Course is located about 16 miles east of Roseburg Oregon on highway 138. Situated on the Whistlers Peninsula, this 18 hole course runs through some old forest, Along the mighty North Umpqua River and beautiful grassy hills.

18 holes, 18 Mach3, 18 Concrete Tees. Whistlers Bend is our Pacific Northwest jewel... Offering a wide range of shots, terrain, and challenging holes. Tight wooded fairways, and lots of elevation changes.

Whistlers Bend also offers some of the most unique and memorable shots in Oregon. Hole #14 Shooting downhill, with some 100+ foot elevations change, and the basket sitting some 725 feet away, the mighty North Umpqua river in the background!

If your ever in the area check out the DiscGolfOregon.com site for information on playing with some of the locals. We have lots of local tournies, and are always up for a casual round!

I'm getting stoked for this weekend. Dave B. and Andrew worked their butts off today weed-whacking greens and tee pads. The mowers will hit the back 9 on Thursday, so Thursday evening and Friday their will be some tidying up to do if anyone can chip in. For those of you who haven't thrown any of the holes and are thinking about signing, I suggest to quit procrastinating. It is beautiful scenery in the heart of Alton Baker Park.
The plastic that will be available for scrip and what not is top notch too. No Arch Angels and Grooves though, sorry I know you guys love those LOL.
I hope to see all those familiar faces out there this weekend. I can't express enough how sweet it is to throw bombs out there with all the scenery and fresh air.
I am only posting this because I was shocked when i found out that TEVO is not full yet. I would rather play this park than a ton of other courses in Oregon that I have played in tournaments before.
This could be a permanent course someday so I think this tourney will be monumental. Have I made my point yet?

Comment by Ryan Cole on June 14, 2009 at 4:11am: I finally got down to your course today. Awesome! The front nine is great (I really like hole 3) and the course's signature hole (#14 - top of the world shot) was spectacular, but a heck of a climb!

Definitely coming back for more.

My girlfriends Parents live in Medford, can u believe I've driven PAST without stopping 4 times (twice down, twice back) last summer, what a LOSER! We plan 2 stop next Spring 4 SURE, just didn't have the time before. It truely is an AWESOME course, BEAUTIFUL.
