The new Kensington? Is Willow becoming the new Kensington? Metropark police walking around on the course, driving their cars on the course? What gives?

Happy to say that Willow isn't totally flooded right now. This is the best condition that I can recall Willow being in at this time of year. The dirt they've built up in some areas that were suspect to flooding has helped also. Hopefully we don't get a bunch of rain at once and the courses floods up. Can only keep my fingers crossed.

I call it the technical Heck course (Don't want to offend any youngsters, or sensors, if they have any). I only play the course in the fall when they have that fly open run there.

This course is my hell. Floods easily, mosquitoes are very bad and if you miss the fairway be prepared to get suck by thorns. Everytime I play the course i'm reminded why I stay away from it.

Pre-registration for Byron Big D has been anemic. I'm trying to use every means possible to let disc golfers know that if I don't get some serious pre-reg by this Friday, three days from now, we're going to have to cancel this. We cannot close the golf course to golfers if we don't know we have a decent number of players.

You can pre-reg by going to the www.pdga.com discussion board in the Ann Arbor Area section in the Byron Big D thread and posting your name, your partner's name, and both your ratings. If you are read-only at pdga.com, send me an e-mail: rollerdoos at aol dot com.

It's $50 a player. That includes lunch and carts and player packs and the works.
