Had a benefit for Toys for Tots at Russian Jack DGC yesterday.  It was deep and snowy and a hell of a workout.  Nobody lost any discs surprisingly, but we all had a good time and got lots of toys for kids in AK.

Lost my first disc on a snowy round. Unfortunately it was lost in the river. Too cold to jump in to get it.

You know you are a winter disc golfer when the foam coming out of the top of your long-neck is frozen!

Just went out to day and just warmed up. Been off for about 2 months. It is 35 degrees with some snow on the ground.

Where are the discers who have played the antarctic? Hey, I hope to be playing in Florida in about 8 weeks, but that is just not real winter disc golf! If it's above freezing it's Spring or Fall, not really Winter. I'm hoping to see temps above the teens one of these days.

Like "Disc-O" says, Florida. The weather is not as severe here. See your travel agent...

I've shot a total of four hundred and thirty two holes in the last two weeks. I don't think there has been a day over forty degrees. Load up on the layers, hand warmers, and I'm learning to play with a pair of mechanics gloves on. I think the tackiness of the gloves is actually good for my putts. I shall continue the experiment. Long live the disc!

Gotta Love Florida.
Shot with the Resident DJ, Gravit*E.
About 6 other groups of Disc Golfers on the course. No wind. 40 degrees in the shade.
We finished the last few holes in the dark, but got ALL 21 holes in!
