The ice storm after the snow storm made this nice shiny sheen and good way to break a leg.

Hawaii is nice. I made it there twice when I was a kid. I don't know if I could live there. I'd never see family. Hang loose! Peace

Hate it bad enough to move away from it? The low here was 62 overnight. I need another blanket. Can't take the cold run away. I see it on the news and that is enough for me. Been there, After growing up in southern California in shorts and surfing I was shocked by Dallas in the 70's. Ice storms and cold every winter. and Then northern Sierra Nevada in the 80's and 90's. Snow every year and 100 degrees in the summer.
I don't miss the cold. Or the heat for that matter. Never below 56 or above 90 here, year round. Come visit and you will see why living in paradise is so great. The C.O.L. is higher here but the trade-off works to equal out. no water/sewer. No heating or cooling cost. One of the lowest tax bases in the US and the commute at it's worst is 35 minutes. But you have to be a,, ,, well let's say not a city dweller. Hawaii time. I suffer one major negative trade-off, I don't make many tournaments outside Hawaii. And That I do miss.

The snow is really starting to get old here. Luckily no lost discs this winter yet though....knock, knock, knock...(on wood).

I had a disc slide on the ice over 100 feet yesterday. Ice over top of the snow. Horrible round.

I'd have to agree with Tino. I'm also down in NC. I'd rather put up with 100% humidity than winter weather.

I hate winter. That is why I live in California!! I lived in Iowa and Minnesota for 12 years and I am very thankful that I NEVER have to shovel a tee pad when I want to play in January.

I remember as a kid that I loved winter! Snow days, sledding, snow men and building snow forts were great. My daughter likes the snow but there is no place to sled nearby so what's the point?! I will play in the cold, but it's the snow, like today that kills it!
