Permalink Reply by David Ledford on January 20, 2011 at 7:02pm I'm out in western WI. I play Mt. Simon as my daily course, only 9 holes but I play it twice. It's a good course for honing skills, playing backwards, playing it as a par 2, and a good course for an ace. To play it as a a par 3 offers not much challenge, but it's very open allowing you to try new techniques with fear of losing a disc. It's quick and easy, I play 18 in less than an hour.
For a challenge I play Tower Ridge which offers two separate 18 hole courses. One is extremely hilly, while the other is flat. Both are set well into the woods on cross-country ski trails. I spend over 3 hours playing both courses. Many times I make a day of it, pack a lunch, and play until I drop.
I am also a big fan of Token Creek.
