Well...I must admit... I do not throw Gateway "Wizards", but, Gateway "Magics". Would that count for joining this group? One is an SS the other is an SSS. Both fit into my grasp comfortably. If I have errored...I will back out of the Wizards group.

best putter of all time. I used a KC Aviar past 2 or 3mths... Pulled out some Wizards again for a round and landed all my putts for the round except 2 (I quit after 14 holes as of a bad cold I have) and those two putts were 40-50ft' I missed.

Wizard is staying in my bag this time.

Started with Aviar PnAs, went to KCs, and now I toss the Wiz. I have two putter aces this year and my putting, although still spotty, has definitely improved. I use a Soft 170 for putting, and I carry a 175 Soft (stiffer Soft) for stable drives. I also have really been enjoying my 170 Evolution HPP Wizard for drives and approaches. Tried a regular E Wiz and didn't like it. Nothing compared to the S plastic. The HPP is a different disc though, try one out!

I carry a pair of chalky SS wizards in my bag at all times. Love them for my putts inside 10m. I will say that I switch out the wizard for a soft magnet when I get outside that range, or if need a good anhyzer putt. But, the wizard gets the majority of the work in the putting ring. I tried to switch to the challenger, but just couldn't do as much with them.

Voodoo's are great!!! Not nearly as good in the wind as a Wizard though.

I just picked up a new Voodoo. Very nice! Straighter than the wizard. Its a very similar disc to the wizard...but with a much smaller bead. I think it makes the release a bit easier. I really like it! Picked up and Element (midrange) too. Excellent disc

Best thing about a Wizard is it's slow cruising speed and overstablity making it great for appoarches and makes it much harder to turn over and if you do it will hold it's line on a anny without too much force.

To me acts the complete same as a Drone, but putter/slower. Both have that slow hover with high overstablity, I think why my Drone has become my main midrange is because I know it will act just like a Wizard, but longer range. Both very overstable unless a decent snap is put on them then both are very straight and slow with fade at very end as it slows to their fall.

I lost two trying out putter short drives though on the same day, I was so bummed I left after the 16th hole cause I only carry two putters anyways, what to putt with. One of them was the one that hit chains from a 100+ft :(

Ever notice that 9 out of 10 times you lose a disc with your name and number on it nobody calls? I even put my email address on there too for people that rather send a email verses calling some body. Never got a call on either and you know somebody found one or the other. Crazy, oh well, hopefully they enjoy them and start throwing Wizards because of finding a disc on the course.

Oh man, yesterday I went out to my local course with a friend and had my best round ever because I just could not miss a put! I broke my old record by three strokes and made about five puts in the 40-50ft range like butter. I love days like that. I would have done even better but I bogeyed the first hole because of my drive. I'm only five strokes off of the course record of 51(Its a really challenging course). It was all because of my wizards. I have been using them for about three months now after going from a birdie to a rhyno to an avair and finally my perfect putter the wizard. Did anyone else have that much trouble finding this holy grail of a putter?

I just got 2 Super Stupid Soft Wizards and I've played TONS of putters and I'm completely amazed by the Wizard. I stared off with a good 40 ft. put through a short tree and almost made the first one and hit the pole dead on and landed in the basket like a dream on the 2nd putt.

...and it just got better, including a big anhyzer putt over another short tree about 30ft out and about 15ft in the hair, sunk in the basket itself like a basket ball going into nothing but net. If you havn't tried a Wizard, try one!
