Share 'my disc golf bag as a "carry on" on a plane or train'

Just wondering how or if I can keep my disc golf bag as a carry on ? I'm sure someone has done this.. I leave Sunday. I'm taking a train up to Virginia.. then riding with a cousin of mine up to N.Y. I'm coming back NEXT Sunday on a plane. Planes, Trains and Automobiles !! I'd like to take my Innova Skill shot with me too but I'm not sure about that either.
