Share 'Another use for your scale'

I use this scale for measuring postage but it was originally used for dietary purposes. Cost about $1. at a garage sale. This disc weighs about 160 grams. I read a little about disc weights, and they go up to around 200 gm max. Wonder if anyone throws discs over say 180 gm and why would one want to use a heavy disc besides heavy wind ?
