Share 'First Tournament'

I was thinkin about entering my first tournament and was curious what sort of tips or pointers you all might have for me. It's in Topeka, Kansas so if you have ever played the Capital City Classic, be sure to drop me a line and let me know what to expect. Could use a few pointers on tournament play, "do's and dont's".
