Share 'Road Trip to Shreveport'

Hello All, I am planning a road trip to the Shreveport area and was wondering if anyone had played the course at Lake Bistineau State Park. I was thinking about camping there for a night or two.   Anyone have any experience with camping at this park?   Are there other courses in the Shreveport area worth playing?   Any information would be helpful.
