Hello to the ladies!
I am a TD of some events in Michigan, but what i hope to learn from the ladies and pass on to other women who read this posting are things that women would appreciate, or would need at or as a part of a disc golf tournament. I think i am blessed by my club that has tried different ways to approach women in disc golf. I am from the Ann Arbor area in Michigan. My club run's a women's only event, that this year has become a Male 40+ year old and women event. We will be running the two events at the same time but separately sort of. What is the Michigan Women's Championship (Femillz Open) has at the moment become the Beauty and the Beast due to lack of sponsors!
I would like to give back to women in our area find what they want to experience in a disc golf tournament and make that happen.
The Beauty and Beast tournament should be very similar to prior years events with extra stuff given away, Players pack(s?).
As a TD I am always searching out ideas for items that women would appreciate in a players pack or at a tournament.
So any suggestions you have please forward them to me and i will happily share them with everybody who is willing to listen.
