Blizzard Hills, Tee View, Hole 18

Hole 18 is a 520' dogleg left. From the tee you are presented with a roughly 240-300' drive to the turn. (Distance depends on how far up the dogleg you reach on the drive.) You can go out over the Pinconning River, which most people with my skills can do nicely. (You're aiming to throw over the tall reeds near the middle of the picture, and left into the woods.) Or if the water intimidates you, you can take the land route which is left of the tree on the left side of the picture. The water route can get you in very good shape for your second throw, which is a woods tunnel drive another 280-300' or so, turning right at the end, to a pin placement in the open at the parking lot of the course and bar. The land route is likely going to require a second shot to set up that second drive. The first time I threw this, I got a 4, but others in the group got 6 or 7. I think we're going to call this a par 5 for now. It's just a beautiful hole.
