I remember going here as a kid. Three years ago I took my nephew there but did not go in. I then and there renamed the place Royal Gouge. The price they were charging just to get a close up view was outrageous. Earlier in the day the highest road in the US, just outside of Denver was also closed for most of the day. The night before we camped in a national park and when we left out on the road we drove several miles to find it closed. No where was it posted that it was closed on the other end. It was very frustrating stay.
