"Its a prett good app (android version) - used it about 5-6 rounds. Wheres the scorecard view though? You'd think that the input method for adding strokes (tap) would be intuitive, but its actually one of the worst aspects of the programming...…"
"Legacy Icon Edition Cannons. Haven't been this excited about a new mold in a number of years. I'm already collecting them like I collected foil insert basketball cards as a kid. Farthest and fastest thing I've thrown. The stability is…"
"It's hard for me to play with people who work themselves and get all bent out of shape when they don't meet their lofty performance expectations. Why is it necessary to slam your discs into your bag and proceed to kick it around while…"
Played the longs at around 5:30 on May 4th. There wasn't too may cars there, but there were definitely people throwing. I wander to the first hole, and two guys jet to the short pads in front of me. I ask to join up and get a hesitant, luke-warm response (whatever man). So the first player hooks a forehand over the fence - great. They wave me through. As I'm passing, they weigh their decision on how to retrieve the disc. After reading the blatantly simple instructions on the map (DON'T CLIMB… Continue
Played both courses today in some beautiful weather. The new course (temp as of May 1st) was sick. Stunning scenery, challenging, windy, and somewhat fair (1-3 are really hard right now...) I left early after the second round, thinking that I didn't cash, but apparently I might have. It would be quite a waste to walk away from a states berth....I will shoot myself in the foot....Bigups Local 101 and Romine ++++
RE: Very interesting stuff on your reply to "large diameter discs". If interested and able, check out the disc profile on quest AT's ultra long range driver. It seems pretty unique and its flight characteristics kinda boggle me noodle. Thanks for the reply
Hey, in regard to your comment about the Z Surge SS...how would you compare it to the ESP Surge? I'm thinking about giving it a try. I had the ESP version of the SS...I was wondering if the Z made it a touch more overstable.
I don't know what could be done now to fix the damage, besides closing the course for 2+ years and letting it recover with grass seeds, plantings. I really think nothing else would save Cass for the future.
Woodchips, gravel, planting grass seed, moving the pins 30 ft every 6 months, etc would have helped but it never happened. The trees are 90% dead due to the bugs, but the little ones that the jerks ripped out over the years are not there to replace the big ones as they are falling now, so that means it won't be very wooded a decade from now!
