A few members of the old Brown Park gang are now regular players at the MBD course. I shot a round yesterday with "Brown Park" Bob Jelic, "Smiling" Bob McAleer, "Dazzle" Daniels and Brian "Ol' Stoop" Tuovela. Felt like old times out there.

I jumped in on a good old-fashioned mob round at Mary Beth Doyle tonight. By the time we finished there were 12 of us plus a dog. Felt like the old Brown Park days again.
We've started figuring out a couple safari holes, and long tees on holes wher…
Hang in there, Danger Dave. Some of us started asking three years ago (seriously). It won't be long now, though.
All the stakes were pulled up on Hole 9's tee area, though the stakes are still there. Some were pulled up on the flat area by Holes 14 and 15. We also need to add several stakes in a few areas where we used to have flags, but no stakes were placed.
Someone has torn out several of the tree stakes on a few of the holes. Those will need to be replaced.
The tree stake markers are in the ground, and each one is labelled with the type of tree to be planted there. We'll need more stakes to be placed between 14 basket and 17 basket, and some to protect hole 18's tee pad.
More fill dirt has been placed…
Okay, I'm in for another 30 days starting today. Winds outside guting to 30 today, so it's a perfect day to start!

I'm more then sure that my band of merry men would love to help in any way that we can, having said that I'm sure that when we can play the course.. simple things like clearing logs as we play and other fine tunings like that would be no issue to us. just let me know prior what you thinking of having done.
Thanks for keeping me up to date on the course, if it's in friday I'm thinking of heading there to play around five ish, if not it will more then likey be the course we goto next friday. if you need help or are planning a work day, please let me know so I can try to get people to help out.
