WHAT I PLAY FOR by Johnny Roberts
I play for the love of the game, I play for the camaraderie and inspiration, to embrace the family of the disc, the journey, the sweet spot, I play for the past, present and future legends, I play for my community, I play for the spirits of Johnny. I live, breathe, eat and sleep to the sound of the chains, for the high fives, I play to play another day, I play for the disappointment which drives me forward, I play for the beauty of flight, the amazement, the luck, I play for the howl, the nature that surrounds us, I play for the lifelong journey, the once in a lifetime shot, the plastic, the skip, never forgetting that I play this game for fun!

I believe in Innova, manufacturer almighty, creator of all great discs. I believe in one disc the most, their greatest, the Aviar. It was created for the sake of this sport, and to all the disc golfers. It suffered many tests, until it was perfect, approved, and was ready to fly. It descented to many players bags. After this many years, it still rests at the putter pockets of many many players. It will remain, as the best disc in the world, and will be adopted by many future prodigies. I believe in the spirit of the game, the players around the world, the growing youth and the sport everlasting.
