Joe Olson said… - I made the trip out for the Bag Tag and had a blast! As of now no trips out that way planned for at least a little while, I may try in July, but will have to see how that plays out. As for the NT, nothing planned yet however I'm registered for the Bowling Green Amatuers and am freakin ecstatic about that. Hells Yeah! It's easy to stay busy with tourneys around here there's something going on within a couple of hours every weekend till the fall. Have fun in Golden Gate and kick some butt!

humchris said… - Hey Becky, long time no see. We're having a tourny up here on the 14-15th this month that I know could use a few more female players to help fill up the womans division. It's called the Bigfoot and is one of the oldest and most popular tournys in Humboldt. This year we are playing at the Redwood Curtain (my home course) and pump stations 1 and 4. It's a great tourny and only about a 5 hour drive for you. Let me know if your in, and I can let the TD know.

denny ritner said… - On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am honored to announce her inaugural ladies-only disc golf event: Juliana Korver Presents La Vie en Rose.
This unique event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
In Juliana’s words:
"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to “the life in rose”. The English equivalent to this is “life through rose-tinted glasses” or even “life is rosy”.
If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.
La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.
This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.
This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
