Hey guys, well my name is Patrick Blazek and I'm originally from Hays, Kansas. I first started playing Disc Golf in high school when I was like 16 and was just hooked after the first time I played. I dragged a couple of my friends into it and we always went after school no matter how crappy the weather was. I really didn't take it seriously until I moved to Colorado and was there for a few years. I joined the PDGA when I was 20 in the summer of 2004 and have takin the sport pretty seriously and competitively since. I was fortunate enough to get to play in an area that offered a lot of courses, tournaments, players and a great disc golf organization (milehighdiscgolf) to help me get to where I am so far. I currently reside in Las Vegas as of the beginning of Summer in 07'. The disc golf scene isn't the best out here, but I live right across the street from Sunset Park. Which is the only decent course out here aside from 2 other courses, which I don't really play. So I am a Pro and it was my rookie year this past season of 07' and I ended the season very well. I just wish I could have played more tourneys this year to make a bigger impact. But hey, I'm still progressing and I feel like 08' will be a big year for me (I hope). I plan on playing over 20 tourneys, hopefully 25. I've been practicing a lot, all kinds of shots and mainly putting a lot.
