I think the WHOLE course should be altered, such a PRIME piece of land. It's just not layed out properly. It's the scariest course I've ever played. I know G.C. designed it, there are some great holes, but after playing a warm up round Friday afternoon amidst the causal players,and being almost hit 4 or five times, I realized it needs to be changed for the good of ALL golfers who play there ! I think that if you talked with the other golfers and listen to their concerns, you would agree it's time for a change. You should contact T.C. Bear, he is a vet. player who really knows what needs to b done. That's MY thoughts on the Down River Course. I enjoyed playing there last week end, had a great time talking with everyone.
