The community of disc golfers and about all things disc golf

Why Me?

Why did I chose to join in? I am always looking for ways to expand my learning of disc golf - through different websites. Most of all it allows me to network with other dg-ers. I primary look for friends or other dg-ers who are DEAF/HH like myself and enjoys the rush that disc golfing gives us.

Port Angeles' Event

On Saturday, April 25th, Port Angeles Disc Golf Association (PADGA) had their fundraiser event. It was wonderful day - slightly over cast, with occasional sun breaks. We also had some wind here and there - where it nipped at us on certain holes. The goal of the PADGA was to promote disc golf in Port Angeles and to help raise funds so we can try to get some baskets into the local park. PADGA had been trying to establish a disc golf park in Clallam County, Washington, for a while. They first tried… Continue

My experiences

I am going to just start this off of on yesterday's experience (18 April 2009) where I played with 16 other boys (with me as the only gal) at Twin Rivers Disc Golf Course in WA. What I didn't expect is to win the tournament with them based on the handicap system. Yes, I was able to win and in the process I got a new Fade Gear bag (Blood Red) and two new discs (Innova DX Orc and Discraft ESP XL).

The course it self was rearranged since the flood had washed out hole number six. So we had placed a… Continue

I like that comic myself. When I was able to play every day I seemed to be much calmer. Now that I can only get out occasionally - I get pretty wound up at work! I need more of that 18 step program.

Any pref. on putter color? I'll set aside a green one if not. I still have to figure out how to get paypal payments for this, but if you have amazon already you could buy it through Remarkd (Flymart) the one that is listed already and I can complete the sale that way (for both discs).

Thank you Crystal, you would like one of each 4?
I have set aside the blue 169g zone for you. The crystal buzzes always weight 173-178g (it says so on the stamp, each is not individually weighed and I don't have a gram scale) and the challengers are always 172-174g. I think I have a 172g z force as the lightest. Let me know of the other you'd like off the list.

Hi Crystal hey i don't know how to teach you to throw a roller on #2 at sea tac but i do have some pointers if you can't go over the top just drive one right down the center left of the fairway try to take that big bush out of the way by throwing a disc that stable down the middle then you can take a pop shot from maybe 40- 90 out and still get par if you miss.
