Just played the Red Dirt Doubles with Neil from Kansas, it was cool! We took 2nd, against all the guys! Since there was no mixed teams! My typical gripe, but they did say they would do mixed teams next year, so that's something to look forward too. But hey, we took 2nd, that's pretty cool in itself!! Neil and Lars came down from Ks., and it was nice, Lars got 1st place with my best-friend Brian. It was all cool, all because of this web site could this happen, gotta love it!! Gotta hit the pillow for now, will get back to you soon! Hope your doing good.
Well, she did it!! She had the baby yesterday at 6:16p.m.!! I'm still in shock!! Gotta run up to the hospital, so I better go for now! Just wanted to let you know real quick!
What happened to your pretty pink page? It was kinda hard to read at times, but I actually miss it! ; ) Played in Kansas on Sat. and Ace Race, was one of those gotta get away times, it was nice, good connections here on this web page. I will most definately put some pics up when the baby comes, I don't know exactly how, but I will figure it out. My friend Neil has a closer pic of me that I wish I could put on my pics, but I cant figure it out, the pics that are there are of me about 20-30 pounds heavier, and it gives me bad memories, if you know what I mean! That was taken from Worlds when I had crap going down! Anyway, It's still pretty nice weather here, getting cooler every day, but no biggy to go into the water yet. Trying to go back to Kansas with my sone Justen on the 17th-19th for the Shunga Open, just hopefully have the funds, we are going will just be juggleing-that spelling looks crazy, guess it's late and I need to go to sleep now, I'll talk to you soon! Love ya, Shel
Hey girl, I'm back, finally got the computer in the home, My daughter has not had the baby yet, but probably will soon, end of oct. is due date. how you doing, drop me a line and I'll clue you in more...c ya, love shel

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am honored to announce her inaugural ladies-only disc golf event: Juliana Korver Presents La Vie en Rose.
This unique event will take place February 14-15, 2009
at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
In Juliana’s words:
"Are you curious why this disc golf adventure has the name that it does? Literally La Vie en Rose translates to “the life in rose”. The English equivalent to this is “life through rose-tinted glasses” or even “life is rosy”.
If someone looks at something through rose-tinted glasses, they see only the pleasant parts of it. It is a way of life. It is an attitude that I aspire to maintain.
La Vie en Rose is a disc golf event that intends to combine many of the pleasant tournament aspects that we have experienced over the years as well as present new ones that will create a wonderful, memorable and rosy weekend.
This event is about warm fuzzies, feeling good and friendship. I hope that you all can experience the weekend through rose-tinted glasses and perhaps even take the attitude home with you to help you appreciate all that is good in life.
This will truly be a unique weekend that I hope and expect you will love."
Juliana has made the initial event announcement in person at the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships and on the PDGA discussion board. For lots more information and to post your support, please visit this discussion thread, which will provide a link to the official tournament website:
Shawn Harrigan and I are the Co-TD’s for this event. We’d love to have your input, assistance, and sponsorship. Please e-mail mritner@yahoo.com if you are inclined to help Florida welcome the ladies of disc golf to a wonderful weekend of competition and comradery.
Yours In Flight,
Mark “Denny” Ritner
