Anyone in CULLMAN, ALABAMA area interested in a course in Cullman?

Anyone interested in a course in Cullman? I have talked to two of the candidates for City Council and the possibilities are good at making it happen. Just need to know the interest of people in the area. I also have been offered some professional help to design and present the course.

Can You Ever Play A Round Without the Wind ?

New experience today. UAH -Huntsville, Alabama. One thing for sure, everytime I have played it is either cold or windy. Actually played twice this weekend. Started yesterday morning (cold and foggy) at Sparkman in Hartselle. Interesting course.
Found the creek twice.

Today UAH. If there is water on the left, my disc breaks left; water on the right, it breaks right. Still it was a great time with two sons, daughter-in-law and grandson. This really is a family game.

Easter Bunny

Didn't find the Easter Bunny this weekend, but did damage a few trees. What gives with the No 8 at Redstone. Had heart palpitations just walking it. Played Redstone with son Jon and 5 year old grandson Preston. With a little work he will be slinging them with the best. Already has great form and fair distance when they go straight. (humm ! same problem I got. Make them go straight.) If that wasn't enough, met other son Geoff and wife Caren at Mastin Lake. Actually had best round I have had. Cut… Continue

Learning the game

My problem being "older" and learning a new game is arm strength. I can sidearm flick ok and I attribute that to being a sidearm ball pitcher. Backhand has been a real challenge, and so the goal is practice, practice, practice. Anyway, I can't let my sons FWAP and "room 240" think they can out do their dad. And too I have grandson Zach and brother Frank also learning the game. This is quickly becoming a family affair as room 240's wife Caren also plays. This will make Christmas eas… Continue

Double post bandit here....ha ha. You need to send me some of the Everly Brothers you've got. I had an awesome vinyl of theirs but I think my mom hid it.

Hey there Pops. I grew up in Cullman. Moved to tuscaloosa for 4 years for school and now live in Huntsville. Although I play mostly the courses up here, I'd love to see a course in Cullman. Where are you proposing to place the course? Let me know if there is anything I can do. Like I said, I live here in Huntsville, but I'm sure I could be some help if needed. Just let me know!

By the way....I'm diggin' the tunes.....

After reviewing your terrible play in casual and tournament rounds, I've decided that you'll be a fine representative and disc golfer to hold the title of 2008 Worst Player Of The Year. So good luck in the random Drawing that will
happen for all members signing up by the end of the day on April 1st. 2008 and then again in the year end drawing for the MAJOR AWARD and other great prizes to be given away now that Innova has signed on as the sponsor to the title of 2008 Worst Player Of The Year. peace and now will you please get up and godiscn ?
