I play the Tatsumi and HItachi monthlys on the third weekend of the month and the Showa Kinen monthly on the 4th Sunday.I'm going to play a few more tornaments this season. Shootin for at least four.

Hi Jon,

Unfortunately, not able to make it as the Open is on the last two days of our school year. Can't take these days off... Also, I've taken a bit of a breather from disc golf the past 10 months. The last tournament I played in was the Showa Open in November. I hope to make a return to DG events here in the Kanto area this coming fall.

BTW, I had a business trip to Beppu (visit to Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University) in March. I ended up having an afternoon off, so I zipped up to Fukuoka and played a quick round at the Uminonakamichi course. It was all very spontaneous, so didn't have time to plan ahead or contact anyone. Unfortunately, most of the first 10 holes was taken over by a day-long junior soccer tournament but I managed to play holes 3 to 8 (but with care not to hit the crowds nearby) and the more open 11 to 17. I can imagine all the different variations and special layouts that could be played on this course.

Good luck at the Japan Open.

Cheers,
Tim

aloha jon , it can be anywhere from 4 to 14 players . depends on what time of the month , first weekend you have more golfers , or if there is a tournement coming up . but its usually its 3 to 4 players at mackenzie on sunday. i haven't play wailoa in a while ( my secretary had a baby and is out for another month , so i can't take time off of work to play. and some day i'll get around to playing the college course at u.h. of hilo. that a little disc golf on the east side of the big island. aloha david
