"**I am not a great sidearm player** However for me If I need a shot like that I would use a Stalker, Teebird like disc. For high speed I would think a Archon or SL maybe. If You don't mind leaving Innova then I would suggest a Discraft Surge,…"
"Green Proto... pretty close to my slightly used Star D Destroyers. Thrown flat it will turn over and hold a long anhyzer before coming back at the very end. Thrown with some Hyzer it will flip up and go pretty straight most of the way. Yellow…"
"Pretty much the same distance as You and throw a few runs of star destroyers most of the time.
Max (avg) distance, high turnover
Star and XG Boss 380-400
Star (*D) Destroyer 400-420
Prodigy Proto D4 420-440
Also I should note I had a blizzard…"
"I'm a little late to this party.
Outside of 10 meters (33') only, on Your walking putt.
- *At the point of release* You have a single point of contact behind Your marker, within 11'', and no points of contact ahead of the rear…"
"Many putter fit inside that group, but a Banger GT might work. I only use the Pure for driving and use more understable putters for putting. Things that pop up are Wizards or Warlocks, not sure which one has the bead. Heard alot of good things about…"
"I think this was more of a rant then a question but there is nothing else on this site to chime in on lol...
"Diaper Leagues" are good when you have a good mix of both good and rec players who show up all the time. It allows most teams to…"
"There is a guy I know that ask for either $100 to take pictures all day, or paid entry to take photo's before and after rounds and at lunch. To Me its worth the free entry fee to have them there snapping pics."
"I am in no way great at throwing rollers. For me I like to a forced anhyzer with something that is already really understable. I also like to get them down early within 120 feet, its the only way I can control them. Most common rollers I see people…"
"I love worst shot, but I believe I'm in the minority on this one. Worst shot brings the strategy to the game to its max limit. Try to equal your partners shot unless he is in a bad spot, if so try to land one a tad shorter but in the…"
I am now the 2 time and defending Hair of the Dog glow round champion! Hey Eric, if at all possible you might want to try and make it up here in late July 2012. We will be hosting the 2nd annual Mother Of The Valley PDGA B tier on July 28th and 29th. Oh yeah, it's also a USDGC qualifying event!
I talked to your Dad last night and he said you might be coming back for Thanksgiving. Anyway there is a tournament in Bloomington the 1st weekend in Dec. (Cabin Fever Reliever). It is not a PDGA tournament but it is a good time. If you can get back sooner we are having the 3rd annual Hair of the Dog glow round tournament at Forest Park on Nov. 11.
Hey Eric, How is the ankle holding up? The hole is still by the tee on hole 5 waiting for you to find it again! We pulled off the 2nd annual Popcorn Popper and we did it at Craig Park. We ended up having 14 holes with portable baskets provided by several different people. We had one shot over a short stretch of water. I believe there were 5 discs lost but none of them on that particular hole. There were 3 that went in the main part of the lake but the hole was at least 60 feet from the water. 1was lost in the woods and Dennis lost 1 in tall grass in a field. The rest were lost by guys from Terre Haute. Labella beat Sparks and we paid out the top 3 in each division. I came in 4th which wasn't bad. I did take home more $ than them because I won the ace fund in a throw off. We had 11 CTP's on the 14 holes and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time.
