The year: 2009

Well, 2008 has come and gone and another oppressive winter has settled in here in Madison. We set a record snowfall amount for December which is well ahead of the pace we set last year. Thank god things have settled down a bit here in January. I just can't imagine getting more snow than we did last year. I do have a new weapon on my side though... Mr. Snow blower. Almost got one last year but Kim talked me out of it. There was no way I was not going to buy one this year. The snowfall does not se… Continue

2008 Tournament Season

March 29th: O'Houser Spring Opener- First tournament of the year was pretty awful. Shot terrible and finished 4th from the bottom. Did have a lot of fun though. We'll try again this weekend.

Knee Troubles

Well the knee troubles I was having turned out to not be as serious as I thought. Just have a floating patella and a few bone spurs. Looks like some heavy PT will be all that is needed to strengthen the knee. Probably will have to do exercises for the rest of my life to keep the muscles in shape that keep the knee in place. Overall, definitely something I can deal with as opposed to surgery. The even better news I've heard as of late is that the county apparently gave the approval to finally add… Continue

Random Beaver Round-up

Well the 1st tournament of the year was supposed to be the always fun random beaver round-up. Unfortunately Phill had a friend come into town and we could not make it. Plus, I sprained my wrist on Friday night so I could not have played anyway. See, I told you this blog wasn't very interesting. :)

just dropping a line. saw the post on "whats in your bag" and you mentioned drivers you go between.
my advice ( which really doesnt mean crap..other than I ma named eric also :) )
go out to a park and do nothing but throw your drivers for at least an hour or two at static objects far far away.
try it in windy and non-windy situations.

thats been the best thing for me to decide on which drivers I really need to carry and for what situations.
peace out !!!

and I am a displaced wisconsinite!!
