BLARG!!!

That's how I feel about my putting right now. I have 0 problem with anything 35ft and in. Anything 35ft and in, I can do anything I want with. Put a bush in front of the basket somehow I will find a way around or through. You give me a shot just outside 35ft and I can't seem to pull my head from my ass. Not only do the putts not go in, but they don't even go where I want them to. They flop, they flutter, they dip, they dive. It doesn't make any sence to me. So when I practice outside my 35ft ran… Continue

About me. How I started out and where I want to go. Part 2

Part 1 Here.

Ok I got Wraiths and Destroyers. I will use those backhand. LOL I get some technique down. I was told I had a good looking X Step or Cross Step. I was getting maybe 200ft. I just can't get these damn things to go. I know I'm doing it like everyone else is. I'm imitating all the big arm pro's. GAH %&$*#$ I can throw forehand 400+ but I can't backhand...WHY????

So one day I am out at hole… Continue

Hello everyone,

My name is Eric Sears and my PDGA# 36216. I have been playing discgolf now since June of 2007 and I can't stop. Actually let me back up just a bit. I was introduced to the game back in 2001. Emporia, Kansas to be exact. Played for about 3 months. Did a few leagues, and that was about that. Threw a couple of times with Eric McCabe and had no idea who the hell he was lol. So yea back to the story.

I play. I play alot. I play Mon-Fri from 2-5pm at Scottsdale, Arizona's Vista Del C… Continue

What's in my Bag

Well I desided that I want to share my info on what I throw and how I feel it handles for me. I am LHBH (Left Hand Back Hand).

Let's start with the drivers:

I have 3 Elite Z Tie-Dye Surges. 172, 174, 174 Grams.

These are great disc. In a no wind to slight headwind 5-10mph thrown with a little hyzer and about 70% power they will fly straight forever. I love that you can put about 95% power on them and they will anhyzer for you. When you need distance from 350-450 about 10-15ft from the ground… Continue

I just can't seem to throw it flat 85% of the time, I always throw hyzer and not by choice, I pull the disc along my body, get real good snap, and then it goes left, what are some key pointers to throwing flat?

Wow that's awesome. I parked #3 at Moeur and didn't know water was there (one reason for a less-than-nice review of that course). I spent 20 minutes digging around in the water for it. If you send ithome, I'll owe you one.
