Thank God men cannot fly, and lay waste the sky as well as the earth. ~Henry David Thoreau

When did you discover and begin playing this best of all sports?
I was in High School, it was 2001 and my friend whom I toked with, mentioned it would be a great way to burn a doob and be out in the sun while playing this cool game. I played a few times but never took it seriously until, April '08 when i played again. I've been playing hardcore ever since.

i love radiohead - but it's always hit or miss. there are some songs i can't stand (maybe Yorke's voice gets to me). HAVE you listened to Easy-Star All-Stars cover album of OK Computer called Radiodread? Sooo good, I'll be honest, i like most of the covers more than the originals.
I've listened to that Beastie album, that's why as soon as I found out that they were releasing an entire experimental album i was stookkeedd. Totally bought it on cd and vinyl on it's release date. (is that lame?)
whatever happened to you moving out west? I mean, I love illinois - but bitches are much cooler in Cali4ni-a.. so i've been told. haha
When I am preparing to throw in 0-30 degree weather I like to layer up. Thick/warm socks are a must have, 2 pairs of sweatpants with a pair of thin nylon type pants over them, a long sleeve shirt, thin fleece vest (good for chest warmth), a hoodie, a fleece balaclava (these are awesome for extreme cold), waterproof boots and a pair of warm gloves. Anything above 20 degrees and I am losing the hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. With this combination of layering I am able to stay warm and get a… Continue

Today was a great day for some good ol' winter time disc golf. No wind, right under 30 degrees with just a few inches of snow. I decided a 9 hole would be sufficient for the day so I twisted one up, layered up, laced up and was out. Threw pretty well for a course I have only played a handful of times also had a real nice thumber shot on hole 3 over 100 ft. of O.B.and through some trees, landing about 10 ft from the hole. That had me PUMPED! The thumber is totally foreign to me. I usually cant… Continue
